Snow Day 2010!

Since we were out of school today for so much snow (right now we have about 2-3 Inches and it keeps coming), I have been able to catch up on the blogging! We have had a nice, slow day here at the Vego residence- Ross and I have played the new super mario brothers wii, played on the computer, watched the dogs have a blast in the snow, and have tried to stay warm! It has been a pretty peaceful and enjoyable day. Here are a few pics of our house and yard with all the white stuff!

Happy New Year!

This year, we rang in 2010 with our wonderful youth group. We spent the evening playing games, eating, watching movies, and as 2010 showed up we sang and prayed in the new year, knowing that the Lord will continue to bless us this year. It was a great evening. The Crooks family was kind enough to show a special screening of Sherlock Holmes for us, so we all took a trip to the theater and got popcorn, cokes and a movie for $5! It was a great night.

Christmas 2009 Continued

Thanks to my wonderful mommy, I was able to not only get many boxes unpacked but she also helped me decorate for Christmas. Ross was working, so operation Christmas at the Vego's began! Here are a few pics of the finished product, which I must say, I was very excited about.... Next year I am thinking of adding a bow, or maybe some type of ribbon to my traditional tree, but not sure yet.

Christmas 2009

Ok so I realize I am over a month late posting these Christmas pictures, and you can blame that on my not having any Christmas pictures and having to steal them from my sister, OR the fact that December and January have been really busy! Either way, I am late. I am going to try and do better I promise!

Christmas, as usual was a quick whirlwind of trips all over the midsouth. Our first stop was Batesville, MS to spend time with my parents, sister and brother in law. Most of the pics come from there, again, because Jordan took them and I stole. Thanks sis! We had a great evening of wonderful food, fun, and lots of presents!

On Christmas Day, we made our way to Memphis to Oscar's house for lunch, then over to Grandaddy and Jacqui's for holiday fun with the rest of the Vego clan. What a fun day! We got to see baby Tyler, who is three now and hardly a baby. He taught us all about Handy Manny and Flicker and, oh who am I kidding this kid is a genius! He knows more about Handy Manny than I ever will! And, he knows spanish. Impressive.

Anyway, our Christmas Day was fun and we made it home for a nice relaxing evening of playing on the PS3 and watching the dogs play with their new toys. Yay Christmas!
